A modern muscle is flexed with the 2009 Barbaresco Il Bricco that shows more evident oak spice on the bouquet. Juicy layers of dark fruit and dried cherry are pressed between layers of spice, cardamom and toasted almond. The tannins are on the sweet side and are surrounded by thick layers of ripe fruit.
