The 2013 Pinot Blanc comes from 3- to 20-year-old vines. It was cropped at 2.5 tons per acre at 22.5 Brix and fermented in stainless steel tanks. It has a crisp and quite elegant bouquet with light, freshly sliced pear and gooseberry scents, touches of grass clippings in the background. The palate is citric on the entry, that 3.06 pH lending race and sharpness, rendering this a lively and vivacious Pinot Blanc that should offer two, maybe three years of pleasure.
