Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Pinot Noir Pisoni Vineyard gives notes of red currants, cranberry sauce and cherry juice with hints of rhubarb, underbrush and cinnamon stick. The medium to full-bodied palate features generous red berry and spicy flavors with a plush frame of velvety tannins and just enough freshness, finishing with good persistence.

The 2014 Pinot Noir Pisoni Vineyard is a medium-bodied, ultra-pure, fresh 2014 that offers pretty notes of raspberries, crushed flowers, violets and a hint of minerality. The 2014 vintage generally yields supple, charming wines, but this falls clearly into the more elegant, silky and lively end of the spectrum. There are 446 cases made and it should drink nicely for 4-6 years at a minimum.

Easily the top wine from this team, the 2013 Pinot Noir Pisoni Vineyard offers sensational minerality in its underbrush, cassis and currant-laced bouquet. One of the richer, more full-bodied efforts, it has a great mid-palate, pure, concentrated fruit and fine tannin, all of which will keep it drinking nicely through 2023. It's a sensational Pinot Noir from one of the top vineyards in the appellation.

The most black fruit-driven in the lineup, with ample smoked earth, wild herbs, mineral and sweet black fruits, the 2012 Pinot Noir Pisoni Vineyard offers plenty of depth and structure in its meaty, chewy and rich profile. Possessing bright acidity and ripe tannin, it will benefit from short-term cellaring and have upward of a decade of longevity. Like the other wines here, it's completely destemmed and aged ten months in 40% new French oak.

The most complete of the Pinot Noirs, the 2011 Pinot Noir Pisoni Vineyard is a deep, layered 2011 that yields notions of underbrush, red currants, crushed flowers and salty minerality that flow to a beautifully balanced, medium to full-bodied Pinot Noir. While accessible now, the mid-palate depth, balance and overall broad frame should allow it to evolve gracefully. Drink 2014-2021.
