Much like the more mature 2016, the 2018 Shiraz combines notes of dark berries and mint with cedar and vanilla. The fruit is more in the foreground this vintage (or perhaps because the youth of the wine), giving this medium to full-bodied effort a greater sense of fun. It's rounder and more supple on the palate, gliding to a harmonious finish.

Still impressively dark in hue, the 2016 Shiraz offers up bold aromas of mint, cedar, vanilla and blackberries. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, its breadth kept in check by bright acidity, with supple tannins that fade into dusty softness on the finish, it's a solid, easy-drinking effort that should be consumed over the next several years.

Mint, chocolate and plummy fruit appear on the nose of the 2014 Shiraz. It looks to be fully mature, with supple tannins framing the full-bodied palate that tapers into a crisp finish that echoes of cola, soy and roasted meat.
