The 2015 Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières has a refined and expressive bouquet with scents of hazelnut, almond and slate emerging with time, all well defined and neatly integrated with the oak. The palate is fresh and vibrant, saline and lightly spiced on the entry, veins of lemongrass leaving the mouth tingling after the wine has departed. It does not have the delineation or nervosité of the very best wines from this auspicious vineyard, but it is certainly well made and may improve in bottle.
