The 2010 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Derrière Chez Edouard Haute Densité is performing brilliantly. In addition to retaining more suspended solids in his must, which began in 2009, Lamy began including larger-format oak barrels in his approach this year. Exhibiting aromas of citrus oil and pear mingled with freshly baked bread, anise, iodine and dried white flowers, it's full-bodied, ample and satiny, with huge concentration and a strikingly complete, harmonious profile.
