The 2005 Riesling – an exceptional value – offers a resin-, pitch-, sage-, tangerine- and apricot-scented aroma. In the mouth the wine is billowing with floral and distilled pit fruit essences, pleasantly touched by herb and spice nuances, and exhibits the softness of touch one finds in many of the best Finger Lakes Rieslings. The juicy, satisfying back end returns to the themes with which the wine introduced itself, notably tangerine, pit fruits, and pungent herbs.
