De Loach's 1994 Zinfandels are far more impressive than the winery's hit or miss 1993s. For starters, there is a delicious estate bottled 1994 Zinfandel that is bursting with spicy, berry fruit. Medium to full-bodied, with a good mid-palate, and plenty of fruit in the soft finish, this supple wine should be drunk over the next 2-4 years.
