The 2004 Shiraz has a deep garnet-black color and reveals aromas of game, smoked bacon, Chinese dried plums, creme de cassis, forest floor and mocha. Full and rich in the mouth, the flavors are just starting to evolve and are well structured by medium-high acid and firm, chewy tannins. The finish is long and savory. It’s drinking perfectly now and should continue to shine through 2014+.
